Australia is by far the highest at 76%.
Interestingly, this is marginally higher than the share of people in England & Wales who identified as White British (74.4%) at the last census. Although, it should be noted that the Australian number looks at people with any British ancestry, not exclusively British ancestry.
In terms of absolute numbers here’s another map:

Here are some of the biggest countries:

- Australia: 19,301,379 (up to 76% of population)
- Canada: 17,325,860 (up to 48% of population)
- New Zealand: 3,372,708 (up to 70.2% of population)
- South Africa: 1,600,000 (4% of population)

Y.D. Robinson says
It’s kind of surprising (but at the same time not really surprising) that Chile has a lot more people of British descent than Argentina. Yes, it’s true that Chile has more of a per capita affinity towards British people than Argentina, and the British have been more liked in Chile than in Argentina. But, the British did have more financial influence in absolute terms in Argentina, such that it’s Argentina (not Chile) which was dubbed the “honorary dominion” or the “sixth dominion” and which was the crown jewel of the British “informal empire”. Plus, it’s Argentina – not Chile – that almost became part of the actual British Empire in the early 1800s (but those attempts ended in disaster for the British).
