Map of all the Eiffel Towers around the world with their heights

Original map from u/Rigolol2021
The map above shows the various replica Eiffel Towers you can find around the world, including their heights.

The original: Paris, 330 m

Built for the 1889 Exposition Universelle marking the centenary of the French Revolution, the Eiffel Tower was designed by engineers Maurice Koechlin and Émile Nouguier, with architect Stephen Sauvestre, at Gustave Eiffel’s company.

It was assembled from around 18,000 wrought-iron pieces and 2.5 million rivets in just over two years.

At 300 m it was the tallest man-made structure on Earth until the Chrysler Building overtook it in 1930; with its current antennas it stands 330 m.

It was only licensed to stand for 20 years and was due to be dismantled in 1909, but its value as a radio-telegraphy mast saved it.

It is repainted roughly every seven years, grows a few centimetres in summer heat, and draws around 6-7 million visitors a year, making it the world’s most-visited paid monument – and, as this map shows, the most copied.

Only replicas of at least 10 m are shown (5 m for those in France). Official site: toureiffel.paris.
