    If Twitter/X, and the Internet in general, had existed in such dictatorships as those in Latin America, Africa, the Communist bloc, and various parts of Asia (including South Korea and Taiwan) in the 1960s to 1980s, I’m sure that these dictatorships would have blocked that and other parts of the Internet.
