In 2024 there were only two states 5 states where all counties voted for one presidential candidate. The map above compares the two biggest.
In Massachusetts all counties went to Harris and in Oklahoma all counties went to Trump.
Harris, also won all counties in Hawaii and Rhode Island (4 electoral college votes each) and Trump won all counties in West Virginia (also 4 electoral college votes).
Still I thought it might be interesting to see how these two states compared. Here’s the table:
| Massachusetts | Oklahoma | |
|---|---|---|
| Electoral vote | 11 | 7 |
| Harris Vote % | 61.22% | 31.90% |
| Trump Vote % | 36.02% | 66.16% |
| Harris Votes | 2,126,518 | 499,599 |
| Trump Votes | 1,251,303 | 1,036,213 |
| State Population | 7.1 million (16th) | 4.1 million (28th) |
| Share of People With a High School Diploma or higher | 96.1% (1st) | 88.71% (41st) |
| Share of People With an Advanced Degree | 28.27% (2nd) | 9.62% (48th) |
| Life Expectancy | 79.6 years (2nd) | 72.7 years (44th) |
| GDP per Capita | $110,561 (3rd) | $64,719 (44th) |
| Obesity Rate | 27.4% (4th) | 38.7% (47th) |
| Top State Income Tax Rate | 9% | 4.75% |
| Sales Tax Rate | 6.25% | 4.50% |
| Average State Property Taxes | 1.11% | 0.82% |
