Mercator projection. Includes every sovereign country at least the size of Luxembourg (168 in total). Overseas territories count as their sovereign state, so French Guiana is France. Greenland and other territories are safe clicks, like the sea.

The borders of Ukraine are pictured wrong though. I lost by clicking at Crimea.

I clicked on Palestine and it claimed it was “Israel”. Otherwise, great game.

Yup, “Palestine” is now West Bank only, no more Gaza Strip, that is now Israel.

I’d like a scoring mode where you try to achieve the lowest score possible. Score would start at zero with every second spend adding 1 point. If a guess is wrong, it would add 1 point to the score per every 10km the guess was off (or whatever distance would make sense). I think that would be a more fun challenge to try to beat over and over again, and could feature a leaderboard too.

The borders are wrong. I clicked on Crimea, which is internationally recognised as part of Ukraine. And it told me wrong and said it is part of Russia. Please do not support offensive wars, and do not repeat propaganda of nations that breach international law.

Good idea. Please made a mobile version. And also a version where you get less score if you are near but wrong.

It would have been a great game, had you not mistakenly shown Crimea as part of Russia.

. The vast majority of the international community and the United Nations view Crimea as sovereign Ukrainian territory under illegal occupation. Please correct this border to recognized international standards. Thank you.

I love it! Very addicting. But it can’t possibly be random. I get Burkina Faso and Burundi early almost every match.

Really great quiz. After about 300 tries in general (at least) and two times getting into the 90s, it took me about 12 days of practice to become a cartographic deity.

Hardest ones for me to get if they’re early: Rwanda, Burundi, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal. But I’ve gotten 168/168 twice now.
You still haven’t fixed Crimea, what’s up with that? You have inconsistent standards for disputed borders:
Crimea: internationally recognized as Ukraine, occupied by Russia – you call it Russian.
Donbas region: internationally recognized as Ukraine, occupied by Russia – you call it Ukrainian.
Western Sahara: recognized by UN as independent, occupied by Morocco – you follow the line of control.
Palestine: recognized as a sovereign state, occupied by Israel – you mark it as independent.
Make up your mind what matters – legal status or force.
