    Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania rejoined the Soviet Union? First of all, the Soviet Union does not exist anymore. Secondly, the Baltic states did not “join” the Soviet Union but were forcefully and illegally annexed for fifty years. Tens of thousands of people were deported, imprisoned and killed for crimes they had not committed. Books and doctoral theseses have been written on the topic, if the authors of this article wish to educate themselves. This part of the article is very insulting if you are coming from these countries.
