The map above shows a somewhat interesting fact. Brasilia (Brazil’s capital city) has direct flights to each of Brazil’s 26 state capitals.
The reason it’s interesting is the same is not true for the US.
“Even if you combine the flights at National, Dulles, and Baltimore, you still can’t get from DC to the Dakotas without a connection (likely in Chicago)”
Nor is it possible to fly direct to all 50 states directly from any one airport in the United States.
Similarly, there are currently no direct flights to Saskatchewan or the Yukon from Ottawa airport in Canada.
In Australia, you can fly direct to each state from Canberra.
.
And I’m not sure about other large countries like Russia, China and India.
