The map above shows one of my favourite random facts, apparently Wyoming has only 2 sets of escalators in the entire state.
As a London resident this is just wild to me, I rode at least 4 escalators just to get to work this morning via train and tube.
So the thought of there being only 2 in the entire state sort of blow my mind.
Here’s a summary why:
I personally love the map above, partly because it includes my hometown.
It shows the temperature difference between the lowest lows in winter and highest highs in summer of each country’s capital city.
Growing up I was always told that Canada had the second coldest capital city in the world after Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, but after Kazakhstan moved it’s capital to Astana from Almaty it looks Ottawa has fallen into third place.

As someone who’s had 3 of their 4 wisdom teeth vey painfully removed, they are not something I really like to think about.
However, the Spanish name of judgement tooth or molar of judgment (depending on your translation) is too good not to share.
Interesting in Catalan it’s molar of sense, in Basque it’s tooth of wisdom but in Galician we’re back to molar of judgment.
