Building The World Country By Country In Order of Population Density [Lowest to Highest]

The map above shows the world being build one country at time starting with Greenland (0.03 people per square KM) all the way to up to Bangladesh (1,251 people per square KM). And while, it’s really neat it’s not 100% complete.

It’s actually missing 9 countries and territories that are denser than Bangladesh. They are:

  1. Maldives – 1,269 people per square KM
  2. Malta – 1,510 people per square KM
  3. Bahrain – 2,013 people per square KM
  4. Vatican City – 2,273 people per square KM
  5. Gibraltar (UK) – 4,874 people per square KM
  6. Hong Kong (China) – 6,732 people per square KM
  7. Singapore – 7,804 people per square KM
  8. Monaco – 18,960 people per square KM
  9. Macau (China) – 20,164 people per square KM
