The STD map of America above shows which areas of the country are not practising safe sex.
Perhaps somewhat stereotypically, 7 of the top 10 cities are located in the South with 3 of them containing military bases (Norfolk Naval Base, Ft. Hood and Ft. Bragg).
Want to explore what STD rates are like in your part of the country? Then have a look at the interactive version of the map below.
Interactive Unsafe Sex Map:
The Top 10 Most Sexually Diseased Cities are:
| Montgomery, AL | |||
| St Louis, MO | |||
| West Memphis, AR (Part of the Memphis Metro) | |||
| Philadelphia, PA | |||
| Norfolk, VA [Norfolk Naval Base] | |||
| Baltimore, MD | |||
| Richmond, VA | |||
| New Orleans, LA | |||
| Killeen, TX [Ft. Hood] | |||
| 10. | Fayetteville, NC [Ft. Bragg] |
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data about Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) was used to create the map.
And in a day and age where Amazon can deliver condoms to your front door, there’s really no excuse for practising unsafe sex.
