The Western hemisphere seems underrepresented in the map. Weirdly enough, I think Mexico City and Los Angeles should be on this map, even though neither is exactly in the north.

It looks to me as if both those cities are south of Tokyo, so do not qualify.

Greater Jakarta is now estimated to be bigger than the Tokyo metro area, so that could be added to this map.
