Methodology:
This web survey was conducted from December 6 to December 9, 2024, with 1,520 Canadians aged 18 or older, randomly recruited from LEO’s online panel. A margin of error cannot be associated with a non-probability sample in a panel survey.
For comparison purposes, a probability sample of this size yields a margin of error no greater than ±2.50%, (19 times out of 20) for the Canadian sample.

Was some Referendum held without my knowledge? No? Well, exactly how many people were questioned in this study? Nobody contacted me or any of the twenty people who live in my building, plus, none of my friends were called from across the country and they number in the hundreds. Also, how many of these interviewees have ever visited the United States and purchased gas, accommodations, incidentals, take-out food, groceries, alcohol, clothing, or cigarettes? Was that ‘experienced knowledge’ not a pre-requisite to them answering your questionnaire? How many of them can explain the difference between the US governing system and that of Canada? Is that not imperative to their giving an informed opinion? In MY opinion (if I’m still allowed to speak aloud), asking a handful of ‘know-nothings’ is only ‘stirring dirt’, and dirt is still dirt – whether we’re talking air, land, water, or mammal.

Exactly! I’m dual citizen and have lived in Canada for over 25 years…I have NEVER even thought about going back and if the Americans want to fight about and try to invade, well I will be standing next to my diverse Canadian friends to defend this incredible country.
