How this tool works
The antipode of a point is where you would emerge if you traveled straight through the center of the Earth: latitude flipped to the other hemisphere, longitude shifted by 180 degrees. Enter a place or coordinates and the tool computes the antipode, checks it against country boundaries to tell you whether it lands in a country or (as it usually does) in the ocean, and shows both points on side by side maps.

Why use it
About 85% of land has its antipode in water, which surprises almost everyone. Checking any specific place normally means manual math and squinting at a map; this does both instantly.
