What A Circle With 5,000km Radius Centred On Paris Looks Like On A Mercator Map

Map found on redditThe map above shows the really weird distorting effect the Mercator Projection has on maps. On a Mercator map the north of Greenland looks much farther away than West Africa, but in fact they are each just under 5,000km from Paris.
