The current local time in every country, on one live map.
How this tool works
Each country is linked to its capital city's IANA time zone, and your browser computes the current local time and UTC offset for it live, which means daylight saving rules are always up to date. Hover or tap any country to see its time. Large countries like Russia and the US span many zones; the map shows the capital's zone and says so, keeping the display honest.
What you can do with it
- Check the current time anywhere before calling or messaging
- See which countries share your working hours right now
- Look up any country's UTC offset with daylight saving applied
- Browse how offsets shift as you move across the map
Why use it
Static time zone maps go stale the moment daylight saving changes somewhere. Computing every time live from the IANA database in your browser means the map is always current.
