Every US state's time zone on one map, with live clocks for all six zones.
How this tool works
States are shaded by their primary time zone, from Eastern to Hawaii-Aleutian, with a live clock for each zone computed by your browser (so daylight saving is always handled correctly). Fourteen states are split between two zones; the map shades each by its primary zone and shows the split detail when you click the state, along with Arizona's daylight saving exception.
What you can do with it
- Check the current time in every US zone at a glance
- See which states are split between zones before scheduling calls
- Learn the zone boundaries for travel planning
- Get each zone's current UTC offset, DST included
Why use it
US time zones are full of traps: split states, Arizona's DST exception, the Alaska panhandle. A map with live clocks and per-state notes handles the details that a simple zone list gets wrong.
